For almost 15 years JANI/DANIEL have been spinning records, but it wasn't until 2007 they started playing together and created the Berlin-inspired duo that it is today. Both have also been producing since the 90's and have made several releases.

When they started playing together for the first time in 2007 we quickly realized that it wouldn't be a one time thing. They had the same taste in music - a special draw towards that funky, chunky sound that encourages movement in any person that comes into range of the sound system.

The most difficult part of being a DJ is to create atmosphere from nothing. The audience needs to be seduced to euphoria - they need to be warmed up and feel that their bodyparts start moving by themselves. Every gig requires tens of hours of searching and sorting for those golden tracks that will create just that atmosphere. And that's probably what you could call their trademark - a funky sound that'll make you move without thought.
